Christina DeFranco has won numerous awards during her 20-year career in Broadcast Journalism, including two Emmys, Associated Press honors, and citations from Connecticut’s Society for Professional Journalists for her work as a general assignment reporter. She has been honored with a New York Festival Award for her first documentary on the Hartford Public School system. In her position at Danolas Productions, she has received Emmy nominations for Darkest Hours: The Crisis in Children’s Mental Healthcare and Aston’s Army: A Swim Team’s Legacy.
